Old-skool weigh-in shot

Those old posts of (big) Baby Lennox on the doctor's scale were classics, so here is an updated version. We finally made it in for his 18-monther this week, and Lennox tipped the scales at 27 lbs 9 oz (Mama's arms thought surely he was at least 30 lbs by now!). I don't think he's gained since his 12-month appointment. His height is 34 1/4. 75th and 90th percentiles, respectively. Can you tell he didn't really enjoy the weigh-in?

Camping on the farm

After months of planning, Lennox finally hooked up with his Canada cabin friends. He headed out to the Wissmiller farm for an evening of camping, food, and friends. Isn't life on the farm nice? Horses, chickens, roosters, cats, dogs, and plenty of nice people. He even tried out the kayak!

Boy in box

What's better than a wagon? The box it comes in!

Got yer goat

Lennox gave each goat a gentle pat on a recent trip to Brookfield Zoo. Honestly, we don't love Brookfield. If anyone does, please tell us why so maybe we can learn to love it, too. I always feel like I must have missed something when I go there.

Mama's b-day

Last week was Mama's birthday. We celebrated with a bike ride through the woods and a nice picnic in the park. Of course, Lennox was too excited by the novelty of dining al fresco to actually eat.

First haircut

Lennox received his first haircut last weekend, courtesy of Jason's grandma. She is the professional in the family and has many first cuts under her belt. We weren't sure how Lennox would behave or how he would look afterward, but he was an angel and now he looks like one, too. And it's all thanks to Granny and her lightning-fast scissors!

Uncle Joel

Lennox likes it when Uncle Joel swings by, like last week, when they went to the playground together. When the weather first warmed up, Lennox wouldn't have anything to do with slides, but now he is willing to go down any slide, anytime, anywhere.

Bike-a-thon 2008

Lennox and family braved the cold temperatures to raise money for St. Jude this year. Grandpa did ~20 laps on a mile course pulling Lennox. There were a few cookie breaks.

O's and toast

Lennox loves toast and O's for breakfast. Here he is hamming it up at Grandma Sue and Grandpa Bob's house.

Ready to run

Papa took Lennox along for a nice jog last weekend. With lions in hand, Lennox was willing to weather the strong wind gusts. 8.5 miles later, he was still in good spirits. Who's number one?
