Goggle vision

Lennox was trying out Mama's old skool goggles in the tub tonight. We can't say the hair washing went much better....

Gobble, gobble

Lennox the picky eater actually ate a bit of turkey for Thanksgiving, but he was more interested in the rolls, brownies and pie. He burned it off with a friendly game of football and a little horseback riding. He also enjoyed playing with his cousin Jamison.

Making waffles

Lennox loves making waffles every Sunday morning. He wakes up and wants to make waffles. This time, after Papa set out all of the ingredients, Lennox said, "Hey, I forgot the applesauce." That is our secret ingredient and Lennox was right - no applesauce.
Oooo, I love waffles.
Stretch! Those were great, Papa. Thank you!

Yoda

Lennox was lucky enough to pet Yoda, the four eared cat, in Downers Grove today. You can read more about this genetic wonder here: Yoda

Election Day

On the way to vote, I asked Lennox if he was going to vote for Obama. His response? "No way!"

McCain? "No way!"

Then who are you going to vote for? "Bob!" (Grandpa Bob, that is.)

Luckily, they didn't give him a ballot.

Halloween 08

This year Lennox was very excited to dress up as a frog, but when it came time to actually put the costume on, suddenly that all changed. He held a special hatred in his heart for the hood, which we probably kept on for a grand total of 30 seconds the whole day. Once we got past the initial costume rebellion, and as long as we kept the hood down, he enjoyed trick-or-treating with his pals Sophia, Summer, Xavier and Vincent. It took him a little while to warm up to the whole approaching strangers idea, but by the end he was grabbing candy like a pro. For some reason, the Milk Duds were especially interesting to him.
