Ready for the beach

Lennox is gearing up for vacation. This week is "Beach Week" at daycare and yesterday Lennox was chilling out in the fun zone. Doesn't he look like his mind is at ease? All he needs is a Corona.

Chillin'

Big L is shown here watching over a good friend. Doesn't it look like Lil suga rented a chick flick, fell asleep, and now Lennox painfully watches as the movie continues. Ahh, young love!

Breakin' out of this joint

Lennox is shown here displaying his "bad boy" image. It looks like he is in prison and is fresh out of solitary confinement.

Hair Club for Babies

Lennox says, "I am not just the president, I am also a client."

Deep in thought

Checkmate! Lennox's brain was all washed up after lil suga took him behind the woodshed in a friendly game of chess. You can see her laughing here after Lennox lost his queen. To be fair, she is older and more developed; it just means more grueling hours of practice for Lennox at the home pad. What will Lennox think of next?

My best friend

Oh, the times he has! Lennox was back to see his lady this past weekend. Based on the photos, they did have a jolly time catching up. Lennox really enjoys visiting Elianna because the house is really warm (80+ degrees) and the jokes are great.

Sleeping better with no binky

First night, Lennox had two separate 50+ minute spells. He woke up crabby and was zombie-like the rest of the day.

Night 2 was some of the best sleep Lennox has ever experienced. He was back to his usual chipper self in the morning.

Dad has night 3 duty so let's keep our fingers crossed. Lennox fell asleep in under 7 minutes tonight!

Our hearts are breaking

Tonight is the first night of "crying it out" for Lennox to get to sleep without his binky or other accessories. Jason and Julie's hearts are breaking with every wail. The screams have just stopped after 52 minutes. Are we doing the right thing??? Will Lennox hate us in the morning??? Stay tuned to find out.

17 pounds and rising

Well, today was the 4 month check-up and Lennox weighed in at slightly over 17 lbs. and measured 26 inches. Both of those stats put him in the 90th percentile. His head circumference was measured in the 75th percentile, but we forgot the number. All in all, Doc said Lennox was thriving and doing well. She sent us on our way with some updated immunizations. Next appt. 6 months checkup.

Down on the farm

Lennox was back home again to meet Lil J. Jamison has been packing on the pounds and working on his manners. They were really delighted to see each other after a month of separation. The second pic shows Lennox waking up next to Big Mama. He was so bad the previous night, he was upgraded to the big bed. Dad was sent to the pack-n-play.

Julie racing - post Lennox

Jules suited up competitively again for the first time since the birth of Lennox. Her first event was 200 free and she was so excited to be back, she almost set a PR on her 100 split. Overall, it was a busy day with both parents swimming, but Lennox behaved well and cheered on the team.

Julie's events: 50, 100, 200, 500 Free and 100 Back
Jason's events: 50, 100 Breast; 50 Back and 400 IM

Lennox meets Isa

Isabella came over today to meet Lennox for the first time. You can see what a lovely time they had frolicking together. Isabella brought over a grasping toy and chunky puzzle for Lennox to enjoy. Thanks!

Lennox contracts RSV

Lennox has been sick for the last two weeks with the dreaded RSV (respiratory infection). Grandpa J and Grandma S came up to save the day. Lennox enjoyed every minute of family time, even if he wasn't feeling very chipper.

More tub time

Ooooooooo. Lennox is shown here squeaky clean. He loves his bath - Don't get him out until he is prune-like!

Where's Lennox?

Big Mama threw around her considerable weight at the Ann Arbor News to land Lennox front and left. What a star! Can you find Lennox?
